Every meeting should have an objective.
Every meeting should achieve it.

Strategic leadership meetings, team off-sites, and corporate retreats — for companies that need their gatherings to do more than fill a room.

What We Do

Not every meeting is about strategy.
But every meeting should achieve something real.

We design and lead the sessions that build teams, deepen relationships, align partners, and create the conditions for sustained collaboration. From the opening moment to the final conversation, every element is built with a clear purpose — so people leave with something tangible: clarity, commitment, and the momentum to act.

Our work spans strategic planning retreats, leadership off-sites, team convenings, board sessions, and large-scale multi-stakeholder gatherings. The scale changes. The standard doesn't.

What World Strategies was founded on 25 years of designing and leading high-stakes gatherings at the international level — UN leadership, heads of state, global foundations, and the most demanding multi-stakeholder environments in the world. That same discipline and judgment is now brought to every client engagement, regardless of size or sector.

We don't arrive with a fixed methodology. We design each meeting around your specific people, purpose, and moment — because the right room looks different every time.

"The measure of any meeting is not the quality of the agenda — it's the clarity and commitment people carry out of the room."

How We Work

Three types of engagement.
One standard of outcome.

01

Strategic Retreats
& Off-Sites

Immersive off-site sessions designed to move leadership teams from the daily operational grind into genuine strategic thinking. We design the environment, structure the conversations, and ensure the session produces decisions — not just discussion.

Includes

Board retreats · Annual strategy sessions · Leadership team off-sites · Scenario planning retreats

02

Facilitated Meetings
& Convenings

Expert facilitation of high-stakes events — from multi-stakeholder summits to team alignment sessions. We create the conditions for honest dialogue, navigate competing agendas, and drive groups toward the outcomes that matter.

Includes

Coalition meetings · Strategy workshops · Team offsites · Multi-stakeholder workshops · Annual convenings

03

Meeting Design
& Coordination

End-to-end design and coordination of complex meetings and events — from objectives through agenda to execution. We work alongside leadership to ensure every element of the gathering serves its purpose.

Includes

Agenda design · Pre-meeting alignment · Process architecture · Post-session follow-through

Uniting a Distributed
Team Around Strategy

The Challenge

A fast-growing company had expanded rapidly across multiple locations. Staff understood their individual roles but were operating in silos — disconnected from each other and from the broader strategy. Leadership needed a gathering that would create genuine alignment, not just deliver a presentation.

The Approach

We designed a multi-day all-staff convening that wove together strategic clarity, personal connection, and organisational alignment. Learning about company direction and building relationships with colleagues happened simultaneously — not as separate agenda items. Facilitated dialogue replaced one-way communication throughout.

The Outcome

People left with real understanding of where the company was headed — and the relationships to act on it together. Strangers became collaborators. The session became a turning point.

Building Consensus
Across 100+ Stakeholders

The Challenge

A coalition of organisations, each working independently but sharing a name, brand and objectives needed to establish shared policies and ways of working for a new complex issue. With over 100 participants from organisations with competing visions, ideas and priorities, the risk of deadlock was high.

The Approach

We designed and led a multi-day convening around structured dialogue: breakout sessions organised by interest area, clear decision-making frameworks, and a facilitation approach that kept the group focused on shared ground rather than organisational positions. Every voice was heard; momentum was never sacrificed.

The Outcome

What began as a room of diverse interests became a unified alliance — with shared language, strategy, visions, agreed ways of working, and genuine commitment to implementation.

Who We Work With

Organisations that bring people together regularly — and want those gatherings to do more.

Corporate

Boards, C-suite teams, leadership off-sites, strategy retreats, and annual planning sessions.

International Organisations

Multilateral insitutions where alignment and strategic clarity directly affect outcomes.

Coalitions & Associations

Multi-organisation groups navigating consensus, shared policy, or collective action across diverse memberships.

Foundations & NGOs

Organisations working on complex global challenges where the quality of convening directly shapes outcomes.
